There is a bamboo chair, couch, and coffee table, and a kitchen in the back of the room. A blue dining table and chairs, with a clam-shaped chandelier above them, is located near the kitchen. Squidward takes pride in his house after winning the title of House Fancy Prince from the host, Nicholas Withers in a competition against his lifelong rival, Squilliam Fancyson. He was forced to maintain a false state of happiness, or else face "Human Resources," a thug in the back of the building. Squidward works as the cashier at the Krusty Krab, along with his co-worker, SpongeBob SquarePants. He not only hates his duties but the Krusty Krab itself, and he performs his job rather poorly and with a lack of enthusiasm. He has often expressed a desire to be fired or simply quit, but never makes good on it.

Squidward is frequently annoyed by SpongeBob's loud and cheerful behavior, but he sometimes sticks up for SpongeBob and sees him as a friend. Patrick also annoys him due to his stupidity and both Patrick and SpongeBob unknowingly annoy and trespass into his house. Of course, she has the standard rooms you’d expect a house to have, from a bedroom to a living room. We see the house in episodes such as “Krusty Love,” when Mr. Krabs spoils Mrs. Puff with gifts.
Living room
Often times his anger happens due to SpongeBob and Patrick annoying him even though they don't see how annoying they are. He is often a jerk due to this, though Squilliam is often even more of one than Squidward is. Squidward Tentacles' house or simply Squidward's house is the home of Squidward Tentacles. It is one of the main locations for the SpongeBob SquarePants series.
Squidward puts his dinner in the oven and then comes to SpongeBob's house and sees, to his shock, that SpongeBob made an exact replica of his house. Squidward is now getting very annoyed and demands his vacuum, but SpongeBob ignores him, trying to do everything he can to ensure Squidward stays. Squidward sits on the exact replica of his chair and sees his coffee table, his food, his Art of the Clarinet book, and his pillow SpongeBob was fluffing. Then Squidward sees his hallway, and he sees the chip in the painting from when he moved into his own house. Then he walks into his bathroom and he sees his medicine cabinet and his rash cream. But when SpongeBob shows up, Squidward screams and he slips on the rash cream too many times and his head falls into the toilet, knocking himself out.
House Fancy
Squidward is also jealous of those who are more artistic or talented than he is, for example, Incidental 41, Patrick Star, Mr. Krabs, Squilliam Fancyson, and even the puppet Mini Squidward which SpongeBob created. In "Slimy Dancing," Squidward cheats during the dance show by hiding in SpongeBob's body and using the latter's physical identity and talents to win the trophy. He attempts to steal the dance trophy after being criticized by the judges, only to be thrown out by the security.
He is a mostly unpleasant artist and musician, and his favorite hobbies are painting self-portraits and playing the clarinet. Squidward receives the security system and installs it into his house. He believes that the security system will stop SpongeBob and Patrick from entering his house to speed his Sundays up, but they suddenly come up behind him with an apology cake which it says "Sorry for bugging you so much Squidward" and their fezzes are back on.
